So...

Computer's still dead. The other day the PSU exploded O.o It suddenly went BAM, and smelt burnt. My mobo, being made of win as it is, wasn't affected (I think). Still, I'm back to square one. Nothing is coming up on screen, and I'm getting really sick of trying to fix it with just a screwdriver and the help the internet on my Wii can provide ¬¬ I'd take it to a technician, but I am very, very, very poor.

Next weekend is MCM Expo weekend!!! Yay!!! Anybody from the UK going?? I'm going with quite a few ppl from Sega ^^ And of course, my sweet Zack-player, who is the most awesomesest friend a fangirl could want. Really nervous this time, but at least I'm not going alone.

Not much more happening in my life... Aren't I boring???

Sorry guys, my computer has broken down and I really have no idea how to fix it. Which means my scant breaks at work are consumed with checking my email and RPing on Twitter. I'm hoping to use my Wii this weekend to get my favs. sent straight to my mail, but no idea if that will work :S

The first time I saw you I was 12. I remember it very clearly because it was in the film Dirty Dancing and I had just moved to Spain. In England the film was rated 18+ so there was only 1 girl at school who had seen it, and she would keep rubbing it in our faces. I was excited and nervous as my cousins took me to the cinema, not really convinced that I wasn't doing anything naughty. But I digress.

I fell in love with you at first sight. As soon as we had a videoplayer, I asked for a copy of Dirty Dancing as a present. I would come home from school and play it over and over and over again. Much to the anger of my younger brother, who wanted to watch Thundercats.

Other films would come after that, but it was probably you as a dancer who captured my heart. I would dream about you and swore that when I grew up I would marry you.

I never grew up from that 12 year old girl, and so I lost my chance.

I recently rewatched the film. Older, more cynical, more jaded. Life hasn't been kind to me, and somewhere along the way I lost my trust in that love can conquer all. And yet I watch the film and hope for a Johnny to save me from my corner and to bring a smile to my lips as we dance.

I'm sure Lisa will forgive my being in love with you. After all, she's been in love as long or even longer than I have. And to her I send my love now, because we do not mourn for those who have left us, but for those who are left behind.

I love you Patrick. You'll always be my dirty dancer.

My best friend in Spain is called Gemma. She's the sweetest, kindest and most patient person ever. She can also be a mean bitch sometimes, but I'm a spoilt brat, so we go well together xD You cannot imagine the things I have made this poor girl go through, and she still loves me to bits, just like I love her.

I've had a couple of bad things happen to me lately, and a couple of even worse happen to my friends, which probably hurts even more. I do not like being away from them when they are hurting, but being in London and poor means that I often have to.

This has affected me for the worse... Gemma noticed it and has sent me this:

The mother of a very good friend has passed away. I feel awful not being able to do anything for him, as I'm still in London and very poor, and he's in Spain. It makes me feel very, very useless.

I think I'm going to curl up and hide under the blanket now :(

So next weekend (not this one, next one) will see me at my first videogame/anime Con (I've been to the comic one in my home town for the past decade or so, and managed to go to a few RPG ones).

Anybody on my f-list going? If you want to meet up, I'll be happy to do so. Very happy. I'm going alone and scared shitless :P

Any tips? (Like is it worth it to get an early entry ticket and should I take a bottle of Coke to keep me going...)

On other, completely unrelated news, I start work again tomorrow. Thank god. My supervisor says it's only for a couple of weeks tho' :( Hopefully, there should be a new project for me after this one finishes, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. Cross your fingers for me!!!
